We apply for funding to cover busses to the localities and other expenses, but the participants should expect to pay a fee of maximum 400 DKK to cover part of this.

Excursions: The excursions will take place on the three islands Lolland, Falster and Møn, and possibly on the southern part of Sjælland. The final decision on the localities to be visited will be decided later to take the most advantage of the previous weather conditions, but a number of possibilities exist in the area.
On Møn, the huge calcareous cliffs covered in Fagus-forests is an obvious target, but also Fanefjord Skov with a very rich soil and Ulvshale Skov on acid "soil" containing mostly flintstones is interesting.
On Falster the Korselitze-forests belong to the best Danish localities for Boletus and Russula on rich soil and the southernmost part of Falster is a large pine plantation and dunes. In the central part of Falster an unusual vegetation type for this part of Denmark is located: a raised bog, with surroundings of Betula and Salix on turf.
Lolland is renowned for its rich, clayey soil and the warm climate promoting forests including old oaks, Carpinus, Corylus, Acer campestre, Tilia and a little Ulmus. Along the coast areas of dunes and artificial dikes favour a special funga.
A description of some of the most interesting fungi and localities in the region is found is the regional red-list, which can be downloaded from:
http://www.stam.dk/get/12662544.html
Due to changes in the regional structure in Denmark from January, it is safer to download it now than later.

How to go there: from Copenhagen train every hour to Nykøbing F. station.

Registration: This can ONLY be made through the organizers to avoid confusion with the hostel and to get the discount in the price.
A preliminary registration should be sent by mail or email to one of the organizers, who will put you on the mail list for the final registration in spring.
